We are one of the largest of the ten Area Societies in the UK, which are all affiliated to the Budgerigar Society.

The Society publishes regular newsletters to keep members informed about Society activities.

We currently have three successful shows every year and one sales day 

We provide a Help Line service to members who need to contact one of our experienced members for immediate help and advice.

The Society publishes a list of approved judges who can officiate at any shows organised by local societies.

When you join, you will be issued with your own personal London & Southern (L&S) number which is used on rings.  This allows you to purchase rings through the Budgerigar Society.  It is possible to purchase your own 'Personalised Ring Number' for a fee of £25.  You will also be issued with a 'Membership Certificate' which can be framed and displayed on your birdroom wall.
